Maybe the Silverlight logo got mangled a bit post sign off, but I think it is hideous - fuzzy, indistinct and virtually monotone - which makes me think you are describing something different from what I am seeing, but I have checked the web, and this is the genuine logo!

Freekin sweet. Love the site. I am the logo guy between my group of designer friends, and It is always interesting to see how others view and describe my favorite part of designing. SWEET!
